  • Le Sueur County's levy increase this year was one of the lowest in Southern Minnesota and half the state average.

• I will not support additional county government debt or borrowing.

• Fight back against state and federal budget shifts that push more cost to counties and provide no relief from mandates.

Public Safety & Emergency Preparedness

 

• Committed to public safety that is responsive, reliable, and rooted in our community.

• Reduce long term flood risks by leading efforts for voluntary water storage projects working with local, state, and federal agencies.

Accountable Government   

 

• Establish County safeguards to protect taxpayer dollars.

  • Our County established a law enforcement staffing structure 3 years ago dedicated to fraud investigation in Human Services.

• Strengthen internal reviews of County programs.​

  • Compliance Audits of County Human Services have shown no errors in the SNAP Program over the     last 3 years.

• Lead efforts for formal County financial policies and procedures.
