Ag Land Property Tax Reduction:  All children deserve the best possible learning environment in healthy safe facilities. Minnesota rural ag land had long been disproportionately taxed when it came to education bond referendums.  This needed to be addressed in order to serve rural Minnesota. David Preisler coordinated efforts to ADVOCATE across political parties and interest groups to successfully pass the Ag2School tax credit significantly reducing ag land property tax costs. 

Emergency Response: During David's time as the leader of Minnesota Pork Producers Association, the team maintained three objectives when it came to meeting membership needs: listen first, be relevant, and provide value.  In 2013 our state pork producers indicated the need for local emergency equipment and training.  His team was RESPONSIVE. They built and placed seven emergency trailers at fire departments throughout Southern and Central Minnesota within 45 to 50 minutes of any livestock farm in those areas. Public/private partnerships work. We need to take advantage of every partnership that serves the County's interest.
